Arsenal win North London derbyMikel Arteta’s men sailed past their North London rivals as they beat them 3-1 in the early kick off at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal broke the deadlock in the 20th minute through a Thomas Partey curler. This lead was annulled as Tottenham’s goal poacher, Harry Kane scored from the spot kick which saw the first half end in a draw.

The second half was poised for more action as Arsenal’s number 9, Gabriel Jesus put Arsenal back in the lead 4 minutes into the second half.

In the 62nd minute, Anthony Taylor sent Emerson Royale off after a dangerous tackle on Gabriel Martinelli.

The gunners quickly capitalized on this numerical advantage and scored the third goal to seal the victory.This win for Arsenal means they are still the league leaders and Spurs have recorded their first defeat.
