Chinese researchers assert that they have developed a device which can read minds and when a man watches porn. According to a report from the South China Morning Post, the device, named ‘prototype helmet’, can read brainwaves and has the intention of watching lewd content.
The acclaimed helmet will assist the authorities in China to enforce laws for citizens against watching of pornographic contents. The device was tested on 15 university male students who were asked to sit in front of computer screens which displayed any image thought of.
Xu Jianjun, director of the Electrical Engineering Department at Beijing Jiaotong University says, pornography is illegal and unaccepted in China. He states that the device is a bad information detector. He took part in researching on the device and came up with his result in the journal of Electronic measurement and instrumentation.
The device has a censor known as (jian huang shi) “porn appriasers” on social media which is acceptable.
