Epiphany Warriors Clinch Semifinal Berth in 2023/24 Women’s FA Cup with 2-1 Win Against Jonina Ladies at Auntie Aku Astro Turf

The Epiphany Warriors, a women’s soccer team from Division I, are the first team from their league to ever make it to the final rounds of the Women’s FA Cup! Their road here was amazing. They beat strong teams like Anlo Ladies, Blessed Ladies, Sea Lions, and Jonina Ladies. They even beat Jonina Ladies a third time and another Premier League team, showing how good they are.

Two players, Sonia Opoku and Leticia Adjei, scored crucial goals throughout the competition, helping the Warriors score a total of 10 goals while only letting in 2! Their coach, Tamimu Adams, has also been fantastic, leading them to 9 wins and a draw in the league, scoring a whopping 62 goals and only conceding 4.

Now, the Epiphany Warriors are in second place in the league and will face the Ghana Army Ladies in a super exciting semifinal match of the Women’s FA Cup!
