“GFA should maintain the current Black stars team” – Samed Salis

Samed Salis, a Ghannian ( Black Stars) midfielder, revealed that the current Black Stars team has gained a lot of experience from their participation.
Up in the Qatar 2022 world. Samed admonishes that, the Ghana Football Association should maintain the current team for the upcoming national games.

According to him,the black stars team have alot of promising players and needs ample time to unite and bond with each other which was considered on of their
pitfalls. Salis Samed who played an intigural role in the team’s performance indicated that, the team lacked cohesion and familarity.

“It was a good experience for us. We learnt many things from it”
“Even though we don’t know each other much well, though the nation is a bit sad because we were unable to qualify. We did the best, everyone gave his all”

He indicated this in interview with 3sports.
To him, he believes they Ghana has a solid team and also iterates they could have done better if they had the familiarity.

Ghana had the youngest squad at the World Cup tournament.

The Black Stars won one match and lost against Portugal and Uruguay to exit the competition after the group stage.

The Black Stars will now hope for a better outcome as they turn attention to the remainder of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
