In an awaited development, the National Service Secretariat (NSS) has officially unveiled the service year postings for the 2023/2024 session.
With a total of 122,275 prospective national service personnel eagerly awaiting their assignments, this marks a significant step in their journey of civic duty.
Released on September 29, 2023, by the dedicated management team of the NSS, this initial batch of postings covers a diverse range of sectors within the economy for the upcoming service year. Executive Director Osei Assibey Antwi, in a press statement, shared the good news with the nation.
The NSS emphasized that the second batch of postings will be made available in due time.
For all prospective service personnel, the following steps must be followed for validation and registration:
a. Visit the NSS website at www.nss.gov.gh to check your placement.
b. Print your appointment letter and proceed to your assigned posting location for endorsement.
c. Schedule an appointment online for the registration process after endorsement.
d. Present yourself, along with the endorsed appointment letter and a valid Ghana Card, at the designated NSS Regional Validation and Registration Centre to complete the process.
The regional validation and registration process will commence on Monday, October 16, 2023, at centers located throughout Ghana.
The official commencement date for the 2023/2024 National Service Year is Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
The NSS management has issued a caution against seeking unauthorized changes to postings, urging all service personnel to avoid interacting with anonymous individuals or groups promising such alterations.
