The newly appointed Head coach for the Nigeria Men’s national team, José Peseiro says the Super Eagles play better than the Black Stars.
Being interviewed about the team and how they play compared to Ghana, the head coach describes everything as an accident.
In reference to the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers between the two teams, a draw ensued in both home and away matches.
The first leg took place at Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi, Ghana while the second took place in Abuja, Nigeria.
Both teams played a goalless draw in the first leg and played a 1-1 draw in the second leg where Ghana national team could qualify by an away goal.
According José Peseiro, it was due to an accident that the Black Stars could qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
He emphasized that, many of his Nigerian football players play in the top 5 European Leagues in the world.
Whereas, the fact that the Black Stars could win the Super Eagles do not make them (Black Stars) champions over the Super Eagles.
The Portuguese continued that, FIFA ranks the Nigeria national team better over Ghana’s.
