Final nominees in the various categories for the second edition of the GLINT AFRICA’s powered Ghana Tertiary Excellence Awards (GTEA) have been released.
The nominee announcement was made on Sunday, May 1, 2022, on GlintAfrica.com, the official website of the GLINT AFRICA group of companies, and was also sent as private messages via WhatsApp to all successful Applicants including their respective voting flyers.
Voting for each category commenced soon after the official announcement was made and is scheduled to end on July 1, 2022. Voting is transparent until the last day, nominees can visit the official website of Glint Africa to view their results.

Winning in each category is by 100 percent voting, winners in each category go home with mobile phones, plaques, Citations, and products from sponsors, whereas Overall winners will be awarded souvenirs like laptops, cash prizes, and fully-funded scholarships. Job and internship opportunities are also available for winners from the various categories.
The GTEA was powered and initiated by the GLINT AFRICA group of companies last year 2021, the scheme strives to recognize, support, empower, and honor hardworking tertiary students and groups thereby front lining development among Ghanaian youths to make meaningful impacts on Ghana’s economic growth.
This year’s edition has been grouped into 38 categories with over 100 nominees from various universities in the country. The second edition is themed “Inspiring Excellence In Tertiary Students”.
The main event is slated for July 2, 2022, at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly at exactly 5 pm.
