GFA has extended Otto Addo’s contract until December 2022

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed to extend the contract of the four coaches managing the Ghana National team, the Black Stars.

The four coaches are of the names; Otto Addo, Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.

Otto Addo remains as the head coach for the Black Stars, while Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Didi Dramani assist him.

George Boateng, head coach for the Aston Villa U23’s team in England was given the role of assistant coach for the Black Stars on 9th February, 2022.

The former Nordsjaelland and Asante Kotoko Coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani was also appointed as the deputy coach for the blacks Stars on February 9, 2022.

Didi Dramani was appointed to be part of the Black Stars technical team led by Otto Addo.

GFA’s official statement read, “Former Newcastle and Brighton and Hove Albion manager, Chris Hughton has been appointed as the technical advisor to the newly constituted Black Stars technical team led by Otto Addo,”

“Other members of the technical team includes George Boateng and Mas-Ud Dramani. The 63 year old (Chris Hughton) will provide technical advice to the three man team for next month’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 play-off match against Nigeria”, GFA added.

GFA has extended the contracts of these four coaches who will manage and help the Black stars of Ghana to win the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

In a post shared on twitter by Saddick Adams a renowned sports journalist, popularly known as Sports Obama, he stated “The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the extension of contracts for coaches Otto Addo, Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Didi Dramani until the end of December 2022.”

“Their roles remain the same”, he added.
